Adoration House

Adoration House exists to minister to God through prayer, worship and hosting his presence both in the prayer room and across the city.

  • Adoration House is reinstating modern day Levites, people with a full time call to prayer and worship, to run a physical prayer room. The prayer room is a neutral space dedicated to one thing, hosting Jesus. Believers from communities across Seattle join us throughout the week for our two hour prayer and worship sets where we minister to the heart of God together and intercede for our city.

  • In 2012 I attended a missions training school in Montana where I powerfully encountered Jesus. As the leaders laid hands on me to pray, the fiery hand of God touched me and I crumpled to the ground under the heat and weightiness of what I was experiencing. As I laid on the ground I had a vision of Seattle. I saw the Holy Spirit like a fog descend on the city, wrapping around the sky scrapers until all was saturated with the presence of God. The fog went down the west coast, overtaking cities as it went, and finally started blowing across all of America.

God's desire to touch Seattle has burned in my heart and prayer life ever since. In 2019, after years working in missions, I found myself moving to Washington. After living here a year I encountered the Lord again in a powerful way one day while praying in my bedroom. It was impressed on my heart, in the way only God can do, to plant a house of prayer in the city. Now two years later, Adoration House exists.

  • In the last 30 years attendance at Christian gatherings has decreased by thirty percent. The big question is why? Sixty percent of Christians within generation z say that the reason church isn't important to them is because they find God elsewhere. We believe there are people hungry for God, they just aren't finding him. Love of God has been placed on the alter of modern culture.

  • We want God. Church has become a space to attract people. We see an opportunity to build spaces that attract God. Jesus said his house would be a house of prayer. In other words, a resting place for God to come and communion with his people. Adoration House exists to minister to God through prayer, worship and hosting his presence both in the prayer room and across the city.
